Architectural Precast Cladding Project - Drumgeith Community Campus

Plean Precast partnered to deliver a full precast package comprising of Bespoke plinths and cladding panels and a striking feature entrance colonnade.

The East End Community Campus sets a new benchmark for education and community facilities in Dundee, combining architectural vision with sustainable, modern methods of construction.

Drumgeith Community Campus and Greenfield Academy is the largest single investment in education, sport and community provision in Dundee. It replaces two secondary schools nearing the end of their service life and sets ambitious sustainability targets aligned with Passivhaus design principles and the Scottish Futures Trust’s LEIP2 programme.

From Stage 3 design, Plean Precast partnered with Robertson Construction Tayside Ltd and Holmes Miller Architects to deliver a full precast package comprising of Bespoke plinths and cladding panels and a striking feature entrance colonnade. These elements form key visual and structural components of the building envelope, providing clean, contemporary lines that complement the traditional brickwork façade.

Drumgeith Community Campus demonstrates how architectural precast concrete enhances traditional construction while supporting efficient, low-carbon building. Our expertise in precast manufacturing helped transform an ambitious design into a durable, elegant and sustainable community landmark.
