DARMUR is a dry build pre-cast concrete retaining wall system which is not only architecturally desirable but also offers outstanding structural performance.
The high quality DARMUR blocks possess:
• an attractive riven face
• an integral drainage system ensuring the proper control of ground water
• horizontal shear keys-giving positive interlock between courses
These features, together with the high density of the blocks, allow retaining walls to be built to heights in excess of 3 metres without the need for mortar joints and at a fraction of the cost of many traditional alternatives.
The introduction of geotextiles creates a composite reinforced soil structure and is an effective method of extending the maximum heights obtainable.
In addition the parapet block, split on both faces, and the coping units ensure that maximum design flexibility is available for both retaining and boundary walls.
DARMUR is available in three standard colours: Natural, Red & Buff.
